He is presently a Consultant in the department of Surgical Oncology at the Saifee Hospital, Raheja Hospital, Nanavati Hospital, Sushruta Hospital and the Ramkrishna Mission Hospital. He graduated from the Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in 1982, and completed his post-graduation at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 1989. He went on to train at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York and then began his career at the P.D.Hinduja Hospital in 1990, where he worked for a decade. He later joined the Lilavati Memorial Hospital and the Breach Candy Hospital for short stints. Dr. Dilip Murarka has over three decades of rich professional experience in his field. His areas of expertise in Surgical Oncology lie in dealing with Head and Neck, Breast and GI, as well as gynaecological malignancy. Dr. Dilip Murarka has treated several patients suffering from cancer in India and from abroad; and gives every patient the best of medical care possible, catering to both affording as well as needy patients alike. He has published several papers in India and abroad and is a member of prestigious medical associations both in India and abroad.
